TS Battalion: 1361 -Ahriman: 131 -Demon Prince: 180 Tzaangor Shaman: 90ģ0 Tzaangors: 210 20 Tzaangors, Brayhorn: 150 20 Tzaangors, Brayhorn: 150 I'm going to try a list with 6-8 of them supported by Ahriman and 1-2 Demon Princes and 1-3 units of 20-30 Tzaangors. Point of this post is that I'm currently thinking that Mutalith Vortex Beasts are like our Flyrant-they are that good. If facing a horde army, the 12 S7 attacks (which can be buffed by the beasts themselves) went a long way to tear through hordes or even bigger units.

On top of that, 12 attacks a beast plus pumping out mortal wounds in the shooting phase-after you've already pumped out some mortal wounds in the Psychic phase is really great against the right lists. Specifically the T7 and 14 wounds with the healing a wound each turn makes them pretty durable and at best, it would take either a REALLY good round of shooting or an entire army shooting to take out a single beast. After playing 5-6 games with them from using 3-5 Beasts against various armies ranging from Tyranids to IG/Custodes and various Eldar, the Beasts are really good!

I started toying around with a list that filled a brigade and settled on using Mutalith Vortex Beasts as the means to fill the 3x Heavy requirement. A mutalith vortex beast is a terrifying fusion of beast and magic summoned from the lower planes, a creature mutated beyond all reason by the powers of raw.
